Calling all volunteers!
We’d be delighted to hear from anyone interested in joining our Community Speedwatch group. Volunteers will be trained to use a radar gun to monitor vehicle speeds on selected local roads. Drivers found exceeding the limit will be notified by post, helping to raise awareness and encourage safer driving in our area.

What is actually needed is a crossing watch on the main a56 road between 0730 and 0915 weekdays. The number of times vehicles have crossed when lights are on red is very concerning.
Hi Ian, thanks for your message and apologies for the delay in response. We have passed this on to our voluntary speed watch team and they will focus on this in the near future when out doing the speedchecks.
