heshire West and Chester Council will be carrying out footway maintenance works on Mannings Lane, Hoole (from the junction with Long Lane to The Street) during the week commencing 10th August 2026.
Work hours: 09:30–15:30 daily
What to expect:
- The road will be closed during working hours, with resident and business access maintained where possible (please speak to the on-site team if you need access, as there may be a short delay)
- The footway will be closed, with a clearly signed pedestrian diversion in place throughout
- Please avoid parking on this stretch during working hours
- Some noise is expected, kept to a minimum where possible
- Works are weather-dependent and may be subject to change
