Cheshire West and Chester Council will be carrying out surface treatment works on the A56 Warrington Road between Oak Bank Lane and the Shrewsbury Arms, starting the week commencing 11th May 2026 and running in phases through to early June. Closures will be a mix of overnight and daytime working, with a signed diversion in place. Access will be maintained for residents, businesses, and emergency services.
